Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I walk up last minute and join a tour?
Advance purchase is highly recommended, as our tours tend to sell out.  If seats are available, you will be allowed to purchase tickets on site.  However, there will be a higher fee for walkup bookings.  In order to ensure the best price and guarantee a seat, please book in advance. 

How long is the tour?
Approximately 3.5 hours, about 1 hour per stop plus travel time. Of course, delays may happen for a variety of reasons.

What is included in the ticket price?
Pick up and drop off transportation in an air-conditioned bus with free water and snacks. 3 stops at local breweries or distillery, free tastings, "tasters choice"(5-7oz pour*), in-depth tour of the facility with brewery representatives. Time at each location to socialize, purchase merchandise or more beer for there or take home (cooler storage available on the bus). *Excluding Fainting Goat Spirits. 

Are Private Tours Available?
Yes. Please contact us via email with your ideas. Check out our Group Tours page for more information. 

Can I be under 21 and participate?
NO. Unfortunately we cannot have anyone under 21 on the tour. All patrons MUST have valid picture ID to attend. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you show up without proper ID, you will not be allowed on the tour and tickets are non-refundable. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Do you provide or allow designated drivers?
We do not provide for driving arrangements at the conclusion of the tour. We encourage you to have a safe way to get home, by a DD or other means. We do allow DD’s to participate on our tour at a discounted rate. DD’s will be clearly marked and will not be permitted to consume alcohol at any time.

Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes, but they are non-refundable. Click the gift certificate link our home page to purchase.

Do I need to sign a wavier?
Yes. Please complete the digital wavier form found HERE. The waiver must be completed in advance of your tour. Your ID will be verified when you check in along with your waiver completion.

When will I be notified about a tour cancellation?

We do have tour minimums and in the event the minimum is not met we may cancel that tour. We will contact you a minimum of 24 hours before the scheduled departure. You may reschedule for a future tour or request a refund in the event Tap Hopper Tours cancels your tour.

Are tickets refundable?
No, but we will gladly reschedule if notified before 48 hours of the scheduled departure time.

What is your cancellation policy?
We require a minimum of 48-hour notice for cancellation. You will be given an opportunity to reschedule for a tour of equal value. No refunds will be made. Cancellations made within 48 hours of scheduled departure are considered “no-shows” and purchase price will be forfeited. No refunds or rescheduling will be made for no-show guests.

Can we bring growlers on the bus?
Beer purchased on the tour may be brought on the bus. However, no alcoholic beverages may be brought on the bus at the beginning of the tour. Beer can be consumed on the bus by ticketed guests. Intoxicated guests will be removed from the tour at the discretion of the brewery and/or tour operators at the guest’s expense. No refunds will be made for guests who get excluded from the tour due to inappropriate behavior or intoxication.

Does the tour include parking?
The tour will begin and end at a location with ample parking. However, the tour will not be held responsible for any damage or theft to personal property. This includes items left on the bus during or after the tour.

Can the tour arrange for picking up participants at an alternate location?
Yes, but there may be a fee for the convenience. Please contact us for more details. For groups we can make arrangements for local pick up with our "buy the bus" program. 

Are drinks included?
Yes, each tour will involve several tastings (up to what is legally permissible). Cold drinks are available on the bus for your enjoyment. No alcohol will be provided by the tour company at any time.

Is the bus handicapped-accessible?
Not Currently, our wheel chair lift gate is currently not in service. We will do our best to accommodate guests with needs. 

Where will we be stopping?
The itinerary will vary weekly, but will always involve three stops. Longer tours can be arranged and would be considered private tours. Please contact us with your ideas. Scheduled sites are subject to change without notice.
